Hey y'all!

May is always a little bittersweet. On one hand, we get to have our awesome and highly anticipated end-of-the-year party, but on the other hand, it means the school year is coming to an end and a lot of our students will be heading home for the summer.
That being said, our end-of-year party was such a fun way to finish the semester! This year we decided to go with a 90s theme, and our students really got into it. Between the outfits, decorations, music, and just getting everyone together one last time, it was such a fun night and a great way to celebrate everything that happened throughout the year.
We ended the night with a live band made up of some of our own students. They played a bunch of 90s songs throughout the night, but then closed everything out by leading us in worship together. It was such a cool transition from having fun and celebrating to ending the school year by worshiping Jesus together. It felt like the perfect way to close out the semester.
I really do love our students so much, and it’s such a blessing getting to be even a small part of their stories. College doesn’t last very long, but the friendships, experiences, and memories that happen during those few years can have such a huge impact on the rest of someone’s life.
That’s also why I’m so thankful for everyone who makes this ministry possible. College is such an important time in people’s lives. Students are figuring out who they are, what they believe, what kind of people they want to become, and what they want their lives to be about. We have such a unique opportunity during those years to introduce students to Jesus and show them that his way really is the best way to live.
Thank y’all so much for supporting me and allowing me to be part of this ministry. I really couldn’t do it without you!

Prayer Requests for May:

  • Restful summer!
  • That students stay plugged into their home churches

Remember, God loves you very very much and He has a special plan just for you. Go in the grace of God!
